weddings, portraits, travel
scott and alice were married here in oregon at sauvie island. after the ceremony, we made a stop off at cathedral park before heading over to the party at the disjecta art gallery. there was a taco truck and a paul bunyan statue that day and beyoncé and special agent dale cooper even made an appearance.
one of the instant photo boxes we offer. we take instant photos throughout the day so that, at the end of the night, we can give something to the happy couple to take with them as they leave the party.
thomas and shalini were married in the snow on mt. baker amidst the epic grandeur of the north cascades. with the mountain as the backdrop for their ceremony, thomas and shalini celebrated their love in front of their friends and family.
we had to make a pit stop for some essentials on our way to the ceremony site.
the wedding party made their entrance to the reception on bicycles covered with streamers and balloons
the music for the evening was provided by friends of the bride and groom who play in a band called luke and the lovingtons

we’ve started offering instant photo boxes of shots taken throughout the day that the bride and groom can take with them at the end of the evening.
it was a great day and we had a wonderful time hanging out with thomas and shalini and all of their friends and family.
after getting married last summer j and i traveled for about three months through iceland, finland, sweden, norway, denmark, germany, netherlands, belgium, france, and spain. we kept a travel blog www.klinskidorn.blogspot.com but i thought i’d give you a little taste of some of our favorite shots.
if you want to see more of our travels there are a lot more photos on our travel blog www.klinskidorn.blogspot.com
back in august we shot eric and amanda’s wedding. j and i had known them for a little while from bellingham and had pretty high expectations. they did not disappoint. it was held on amanda’s mother’s property in olympia which was a perfect spot for a big party full of great music. afterwards everyone just camped out in the field behind the house and woke up in the morning to eat pie.
j was recently a bridesmaid in the wedding of her childhood friend kaela. they had a small ceremony held down in vegas at the wynn casino. a week later they held a reception in downtown portland at the world trade center. although i wasn’t able to go to the wedding, the couple asked if i would photograph the reception. the atrium at the world trade center is actually open to the outside air so everyone had to bundle up to stay warm against the forty degree cold.
just before christmas i did some family holiday portraits for j’s boss and her husband along with their awesome little boy jack. it was rainy and cold but they didn’t let it ruin the shoot and jack didn’t even seem to notice.
